HD Electrodes

Sintered Ag/AgCl electrode with low offset voltage, low noise and high stability.

These sintered Silver-Silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrodes incorporate a fine grain, homogeneous mixture of Silver and Silver Chloride compressed and sintered to strengthen and stabilize. They are reusable, resurfaceable, never need rechloriding and are essentially non-polarizable. Sintered Ag/AgCl electrodes are known for their low offset voltage, low noise and stability and can be used indefinitely with minimal care.

Electrodes are encapsulated in durable housings:

  • 1m (40 inch long) PVC insulated lead wires
  • terminated with 1.5mm DIN safety socket.

  • Drift: 25 V/hr
  • Noise: 1 V p-p (0.1-1 kHz with 50 Hz eliminated).

Packages are generally dispatched within 1-3 days after receipt of payment, though some exceptions may apply, and are shipped via UPS, DHL and USPS with tracking (when applicable) and drop-off without signature. If you prefer delivery by a different method, please contact us. Delivery with signature is available for an additional fee.

HD Electrodes

Lasts a long time

We previously bought these electrodes from Caputron and they do last a long time. We used them for about a month before we needed to replace the first set.

Need many for HD

You need to use 5 of these to do HD-tDCS so the cost adds up quickly. However, they did have excellent quality and I was able to easil replicate the studies I read using these exact electrodes.

Good Current Distribution

Made of Ag/Ag Cl these are excellent for stimulation. They are also very low noise electrodes so we can record EEG near the stimulation site.

Animal Stimulation

we use these as the refernce electrode on mice for our animal tdcs trials. they work extremely well. we place the refernce under the belly and use an electrode jacket to hold it in place.
