Cranio-Electro Stimulation (CES) was developed in the late 1940s to help with sleep problems and has since been used by millions of people all over the world. Over 200 studies to date have shown that CES increases the calming type of neurotransmitters within the brain, namely serotonin and endorphins. Clinical research over the past 50 years has shown that CES calms the mind, boosts relaxation, helps with sleep, and improves mental sharpness and ability in general. CES is particularly useful in producing calm in situations like being at the dentist while writing exams or struggling with the fast pace of work or school. CES also settles body discomfort.

CES works by changing the electrical and chemical activity of certain nerve cells in the brain stem. CES appears to amplify activity in some neurological systems and diminish activity in others. This neurological "fine tuning" is called modulation, and occurs either as a result of, or together with the production of a certain type of electrical activity pattern in the brain known as an alpha state which can be measured on brain wave recordings called electroencephalograms (EEG). Such alpha rhythms are accompanied by feelings of calmness, relaxation, and increased mental focus.

The neurological mechanisms that occur during the alpha state appear to decrease stress effects, reduce agitation stabilize mood, and regulate both sensations and perceptions of particular types of pain. These effects can be produced after a single treatment, and repeated treatments have been shown to increase the relative strength and duration of these effects. In some cases, effects have been stable and permanent, suggesting that the electrical and chemical changes evoked by CES have led to a durable re-tuning back to normal function.

Returned devices must be in a like-new and undamaged condition. Products returned damaged may not qualify for a refund.

Opened or used accessories such as electrodes, gel, saline, head straps, or other consumables are not eligible for a refund.

Orders are generally dispatched within 1-3 days after receipt of payment, though some exceptions may apply, and are shipped via UPS, DHL and USPS with tracking (when applicable) and drop-off without signature. If you prefer delivery by a different method, please contact us. Delivery with signature is available for an additional fee.

International Customers Please Note: Any additional fees required by customs will be the responsibility of the buyer. We cannot control customs processing times in international countries.

It is not uncommon for USPS First Class/Flat Rate parcels, or packages of any type, to get caught up in customs for weeks at a time. We highly recommend using UPS or DHL for international orders as they provide faster customs processing times and accurate tracking updates.

We are not responsible for any added time due to customs. We will not be liable for, nor will any adjustment, refund, or credit of any kind be given as a result of any delay, misdelivery, or non-delivery. Items returned to us that were deemed undeliverable and are not damaged in any way are subject to partial refund for the cost of the merchandise minus the cost of shipping.

At the discretion of both Caputron and the buyer, redelivery may be attempted for additional shipping costs determined prior to reshipment.
