Advanced Hands on Training and Certification - Join us for an intensive hands-on workshop featuring the FDA Cleared CloudTMS system. This one day introductory rTMS course will cover TMS theory and include actual hands-on practice sessions. During the hands-on sessions you will use the FDA approved CloudTMS rTMS machine to practice how to find the landmarks you need to identify the hotspot for motor threshold determination, and the DLPFC area for patient treatment. The course will feature Dr. Rustin Berlow, a Southern CA Board Certified Psychiatrist with actual experience in setting up his own rTMS practice. Space is limited and enrollment will be on a first come first serve basis. Please see below for more information about the course. The course includes didactic sessions and hands-on administration of TMS.

Dr. Rustin Berlow, MD

Board Certified Psychiatrist

Dr. Berlow is a board certified psychiatrist who has been licensed to practice medicine in California since 1993. After graduating from medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1990, Dr. Berlow did two years of Neurosurgery residency, then a three year psychiatry residency and an additional two years of advanced training in a Psychopharmacology of Mood Disorders Fellowship, at the UCSD sponsored by the National Institute of Health. Dr. Berlow has published original research, chapters in text books, book reviews, abstracts and conference poster presentations. He has also received advanced training in the new field of Brain Stimulation and EEG at UCSD, Singapore, Geneva, University of Hawaii, CCNY, and Harvard Medical School. In his private practice of psychiatry, he has diagnosed and treated 2,167 different individuals, in more than 29,320 patient visits and has taught psychopharmacology for 17 years at 2 different universities.

Robin Azzam, MS Biomedical Engineering

Caputron is a worldwide provider of neuromodulation devices and accessories for TMS, tDCS, CES and EEG. Prior to founding Caputron, Robin was chief regulatory oficer at Soterix Medical Inc where he was responsible for product deployment to medical centers for clinical trials. He has co-authored papers employing the use of plasma discharge gas to biomaterials, eradicating biofilms from medical devices. Robin earned a MS in Biomedical Engineering at the City College of New York and BS in Chemical Biology from Stevens Institute of Technology. Caputron works closely with CloudTMS to handle US product install, training, support and maintenance.
